IIT JODHPUR TEAM WINS TATA CRUCIBLE HACKATHON

Tata Crucible Hackathon is organized every year to encourage students to submit innovative solutions to solve the challenges for the Campus Hackathon, and get recognized. There were around 1000+ entries in 2019 from all across the world, out of which 400+ entries were selected. IIT Jodhpur’s team, Parinati, was one of them. The team consisted of five members, namely, Aarush Gupta, Poojan Gajjar, Shivam Goel, Kaustubh Dixit and Dhruv Patel. This team presented a solution on the ‘Smart City Enabler’ challenge, in which they had to track the potholes and measure the noise level and illumination level in cities and map it on Google Maps. Saakshi Dhanekar, Research Scientist from IIT Delhi, Dr. Anurag Singh, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering at NIT Delhi and Mr. Suneel TS, General Manager, Open Innovation from Tata Group Technology and Innovation Office team were the jury members for the event.
